Description

The Department of Religious Studies at the College of the Holy Cross invites applications for a visiting part-time faculty position in the area of Hebrew Bible to teach two courses during the fall semester and two courses during the spring semester of the 2025-2026 academic year. The primary responsibility will be to teach an introduction to the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament (RELS 126), a survey course that explores texts in the Hebrew Bible with a variety of critical tools and perspectives. During the spring semester, the successful candidate may teach one course of their own choosing.

Qualifications

Candidates must demonstrate commitment to, and excellence in, undergraduate teaching and inclusive pedagogies as informed by current practice and scholarship in the field.
