Announcing New CBA Grants and Fellowships

CBA is pleased to announce three new funding opportunities for its members:

• Archaeological Fellowships

CBA funds up to two fellowship awards annually of up to $5,000 each to support Full and Associate Member participation in an archaeological excavation.
Application Deadline: March 1, 2025.

Each year the CBA will award up to five stipends of $5,000 each to doctoral candidates (Ph.D, Th.D., S.T.D.) who are engaged in writing their dissertations.
D.Min. candidates are not eligible.

• Sabbatical Fellowship 

The CBA Sabbatical Fellowship is available for individual scholars pursuing projects relevant to the purposes of the Catholic Biblical Association (https://www.catholicbiblical.org/about-us). One award of $40,000 will be granted annually. This sabbatical fellowship is designed for individual researchers. Awards may not be divided, and group projects are not eligible for funding.
