Unbound Review of C. Clifton Black's

Mark’s Gospel:
History, Theology, Interpretation

Reflections on Black’s work with the following questions: “How does the Gospel of Mark help one better understand the first century Jewish context and the development of the nascent Christian community?” “How does Black’s narrative approach help the 21st century Christian better understand Mark's presentation of early Christian theology (discipleship; Kingdom living)?” After a brief introduction of the book by Black, we will welcome reflections from Suzanne Henderson, Kara Lyons-Pardue, Elizabeth E. Shively, and Christopher W. Skinner.
