CBA’s series of free virtual events draw together scholars from diverse fields to discuss a recent publication through reflections on specific questions.        

In this Unbound Book Review, we will gather to reflect on  Rodríguez’s work with the following questions: “How do Paul’s reflections in the Letters to the Thessalonians shape the first-century CE social boundaries?” “How does an apocalyptic perspective affect Paul’s everyday concerns and our own?”

After a brief introduction of the book by Rodríguez, we will welcome reflections from Sydney Tooth, Carlos A. Garcia Alayon, and John Dunne.
