Unbound Book Review of  Jennie Grillo's

Daniel After Babylon:
The Additions in the History of Interpretation

CBA's series of free virtual events draw together scholars from diverse fields to discuss a recent publication through reflection on specific questions.

In this Unbound Book Review, we will gather to reflect on Grillo’s work with the following questions: "How is Reception History useful to the study of biblical literature?" “What do different mediums (liturgy, hagiography, visual art) bring to the interpretation of scripture?” and “Does the Book of Daniel look different when read with these additional sources? ”

After a brief introduction of the book by Grillo, we will welcome reflections fromKevin Zilverberg, Alexandria (Xandy) Frisch, and Anathea Portier-Young.
