What to expect in the rooms: Your room will be located in a suite with a shared washroom for the suite (either 2 or 3 rooms sharing). Your room will be equipped with bed linens, 2 hangers, a plastic cup, and towels. The rooms do not have clocks or alarms in them so you will want to come prepared to address those needs on your own. All our dormitories are non-smoking. You will be given a “fob” for the exterior building door and a key for the suite door.

Wireless internet is available throughout the campus, including in the dorm rooms. Please choose the “Guest” network as it is not password protected. A troubleshooting desk will be set up in the Living Learning Center on Saturday between 12:30 – 9:30 pm for any initial connection issues. If you have any IT problems at other times please contact the HUB at (508) 767-7060 (the HUB is open from 9 am - 8 pm).

Throughout the conference an information desk will be located in the foyer of Taylor Dining Hall. This table will be staffed Saturday 1 – 8 pm, Sunday and Monday 7am – 8 pm, and Tuesday 7 am – 1 pm. In addition, anyone in a red conference polo shirt is available to assist you.

Registration (and de-registration) will take place in the lobby of La Maison Francaise (the place where the airport shuttle will pick up and drop off). Please feel free to leave your bags with the on campus shuttle bus drivers while you register (or deregister). If you are driving, leave your bags in your vehicle while you register. Baggage can be left in your dorm rooms until you are ready to depart. If you are staying on campus, you must de-register, by bringing your keys back to La Maison in order to avoid a $100 key charge.

While our campus is small, we will be running an ongoing shuttle van service, especially for those with mobility needs. There will be several pick up stops along our campus loop to make it easier for you to catch the shuttle. Should you need to be deposited in a location other than one of these stops, please inform your driver. (These vans are not permitted to leave the campus, so for off campus destinations please refer to the list of taxi available at the Information Table in Taylor Dining Hall).

In the case of an emergency or building maintenance/HVAC on the weekend or at night, please contact Public Safety at (508) 767-7225. For building maintenance Monday or Tuesday during the day until 4 PM, call 508-767-7391.

The Ploude Recreation Center is located on campus and conference attendees are welcome to use the facilities for $5 per day, which includes the use of the pool. The Ploude is open from 7 am – 7 pm Monday to Friday and the pool is open from 5 pm – 7 pm.

Other than Taylor Dining Hall and the limited selection at Dunkin Donuts (Sat. 12-7 pm; Sunday 7 am – 7 pm; Monday and Tuesday 8 am – 4:30 pm), there are no other dining options without driving to a local restaurant. For restaurant recommendations, please see the local map of Worcester in your registration packages or inquire at the Information Table in Taylor Dining Hall.

A list of religious services and centers is available at the Information Table in Taylor Dining Hall.
