  • FEE: The registration cost is $145, which includes socials and coffee breaks (after June 30, 11:59 PM EDT, a $25 late fee will be added)
  • REGISTER: Click here to register through a secure CUA site. 
    • You will need to either create an *Iris account using your e-mail address, or you may interface with the registration program with your Facebook, Google, Twitter, or Yahoo account by clicking on the corresponding logo.
      *N.B. The registration site is operated by CUA, not CBA, so your CBA login credentials will not work.

  • Meals: The basic 9-meal plan (Sat. dinner - Tue. lunch) will be $123. Other options are available on the registration form.

    • On-campus - The cost for a three night stay on campus (Sat. - Tue.) will be $50 per night for single occupancy, or $40 per night for double occupancy, plus a 14.5% DC room occupancy tax (N.B. there also will be a one time fee of $30 to cover linens and incidentals). 
      On-campus housing is available for the nights of  Wednesday, August 2 - Wednesday, August 9, 2017.
      Opus Hall offers suite-style living arrangements for upper-class residents. Each 5-person suite in Opus has 3 single rooms and 1 double room. Each unit has a shared private bath and living room. Each floor has a lounge with cable TV, dining, and kitchen facilities.
      PARKING: The nearest parking lot is in front of Opus Hall (for GPS, type: Opus Hall, Washington, DC 20064

    • Off-campus - The CUA campus is at the BROOKLAND-CUA stop of the RED LINE of Metrorail ( Metro is the most efficient means of travelling in the DC area. 
      There are hotel options at many of the stops:
      • Silver Spring is on the RED LINE – 3 stops north of the CUA campus.
        Silver Spring, Maryland just 4.6 miles from CUA and 6.4 miles from Washington DC. Downtown Silver Spring has over 40 restaurants within a 5 minute walking distance radius.
      • Union Station is on the RED LINE – 3 stops south of the CUA campus.
        Union Station serves AMTRAK, MARC, and METRORAIL. It is also home to a shopping mall, food court and restaurants. It is a starting point for all sightseeing tours in the city. The U.S. Capitol is two blocks away and the Smithsonian museums on the Mall are within walking distance.
      • Friendship Heights is on the RED LINE – 14 stops from the CUA campus.
        Friendship Heights is in the Northwest quadrant of DC, abutting Chevy Chase, MD. It is noted for abundance of shopping and restaurant venues.
      • Mount Vernon Square is on the YELLOW / GREEN Line – 6 stops from the CUA campus (with a train transfer to the RED LINE at Gallery Place).
        Mount Vernon Square is within walking distance of DC's Chinatown, the Capitol, and the National Mall.


  • Click here for CUA Maps and Directions.  The Catholic University of America campus is at the BROOKLAND - CUA stop on Metrorail's RED LINE.
    When exiting the BROOKLAND - CUA Metro Station, turn left once through the turnstiles. Take the stairs/escalator and follow the path across John McCormack Drive, NE onto the CUA campus.
  • The Washington area is served by three airports:
    • Washington National Airport (DCA) is the closest airport to CUA. Upon arrival visitors can take a taxi, Metrorail or rental car to reach campus.
      Metrorail is the fastest and easiest way to reach campus. Take Metro's YELLOW LINE to the Gallery Place/Chinatown station, transfer to the RED LINE, in the direction of Glenmont, and arrive at the Brookland-CUA metro stop. Travel time is approximately 30 minutes.
      Taxis from National to CUA are also available with an approximate travel time of 20 minutes.
    • Baltimore / Washington International Airport (BWI) is accessible to the CUA campus by taking an AMTRAK train (on the weekend) or  MARC train (on weekdays) to UNION STATION and transfer to Metrorail'RED LINE in the direction of Glenmont.
      The Super Shuttle is another way to access CUA from BWI. The shuttle takes you from the terminal and delivers you to the Catholic University campus in about 45 minutes.
      Taxis from BWI to CUA are readily available with a travel time of approximately 45 minutes.
    • Dulles International Airport (IAD) 
      Washington Flyer Coach Service is an affordable and expedient way to travel from Dulles to Washington. Leaving every 30 minutes, Washington Flyer coaches deliver visitors to the West Falls Church Metro Station on the ORANGE LINE. Take a Metro towards New Carollton and connect to the RED LINE at the Metro Center station. Continue on the Metro to the Brookland/CUA station. The trip from Dulles to CUA via Washington Flyer and Metrorail is approximately 70 minutes.
      The Super Shuttle is a convenient way to access CUA from Dulles. Picking you up at the terminal, the shuttle delivers you to Catholic University in about an hour.
      Taxis are also available. Travel time to the CUA campus is about 50 minutes.
